Mail Order:

Given the existing financial fuel charges Postage is now playing an important part of item cost. As a result we want to keep the cost you pay to a minimum. Items such as the "L.M.Stand" & Engines carry a fixed £8.10 postage by carrier, when possible we can add smaller items to this when included with your order & refund you the additional items postage to keep your costs low.

Otherwise an additional items postage will be added accordingly before you pay for your goods - as below.

 

Our Minimum postage is £3.50 Larger Orders/value  >£3.50  Maximum Single Postage £8.10 by carrier. Special Rates £6.99 for Large Model Stand. PayPal™ is our chosen payment gateway unfortunately the shopping cart used doesn't allow for all postage variables. So should your carriage be less or more than required we will email you accordingly.  You will have the choice of cancelling your order if you don't agree with any additional postage amount and we will refund you accordingly. Advertised Prices

Prices, offers and products are subject to availability and may change.

Every effort is made to ensure that the description and prices we advertise are correct. Being only human on rare occasions descriptions and advertised prices can be incorrect. This is not intentional and we will contact you to make sure it is ok to proceed with the order at the new price.

Any items unavailable will not generate automatic back orders. You will be emailed for items out of stock we will back order for you if you so require. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order should you not wish to wait - I hate waiting for goods only to find certain items missing and a message "on back order/unavailable" - could of ordered item somewhere else!

As per PayPal™ terms we can only send goods to the payment card registered address. This is to prevent card fraud and is for your protection as well as ours. This is the policy of our merchant service provider. If however, you are a repeat customer we may ship to an alternate address.

Security:

Due to increased fraud we only accept PayPal payments with a confirmed address, other card payments will require proof of address by a telephone/valid email not by anonymous emails such as yahoo, hotmail etc. It is up to you to provide a transparency of  ID . We reserve the right to refuse any order on  this basis.

Model Components under its website Scottish Border Models does not disclose buyer's information to third parties. 
In addition when you order with your credit card, we ask for your name and address, email and collect the relevant data required for payment purposes and processes your order.

The only organizations that will be given SOME of your details to fulfil your order will be;
mail delivery company, credit card merchant services. We reserve the right access and disclose your information to comply with legal requirements, or to protect ourselves or our users.

We do not give out or sell this information about you to any third parties in the UK or Internationally.
