It is very important that you check your model isn’t too heavy/awkward for the safe use of the "L.M.Stand". DO NOT USE IF YOU BELIEVE YOUR MODEL TO BE INCOMPATIBLE FOR SAFE USE. AS WITH ALL MODEL USE THE RESPONSIBILITY LIES WITH YOU.

Delivery Schedule We will despatch your order as soon as possible, most orders are despatched the same day. If there is going to be a delay we will try and let you know as quickly as we can.

Back Orders Any items unavailable will not generate automatic back orders. You will be emailed for items out of stock we will back order for you if you so require. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Pricing Prices and products are subject to availability and may change without notice. Sometimes a manufacturer may change the product design however, we would only supply on a like for like basis. Every effort is made to maintain accuracy but please bear in mind we are only human. Repeated attempts to authorise your credit card on the same order may result in an additional charge. We do not assume any responsibility for bank fees incurred by using a Debit Card for your purchase and/or return credit. Cheques payments require a full 10 days to clear due to fraud prevention and UK Bank policy to refund cheque payments. Customers whose cheques are returned to us because of insufficient funds will be charged Ł12.00 for handling in addition to the amount of the cheque. If it becomes necessary for us to use a Solicitor or collection agency, you will be responsible for all collection fees.

Guarantee All of our products carry guarantees from manufacturers, the information relating the guarantee can normally be found on the product. We will always repair or replace faulty goods where we are the importer and responsible for the warranty. In situations where the warranty is given by a third party, we will return the item to them and ask them to repair or replace the item for you.

Special Items: marked with a security seal (in an effort to stop fraudulent claims) if this seal is broken your warranty will be null and void, for example motors, casings and any such device as labelled by us or as marked on product. If you do not accept these terms then do not open the package. Upon opening the package you are accepting these terms and your 7 day refund will be cancelled. However, if you do not accept these terms and have not opened the packaging please obtain a returns number by writing or email within 7 days of your goods receipt for a returns number a telephone call is not sufficient as we will not be held accountable or liable for any tracking of the item. If your special item is found to be in breech of these terms we will not be responsible for any refund and a handling charge to return the item will be applied to you along with any additional expenses incurred such as legal and technical services to prove such.

Disclaimer Model Components DO NOT accept responsibility for any damage or injury howsoever caused as a result of using the "L.M.Stand". Additionally we do not advocate that this stand should be used as an engine run up platform as this would be unsafe practice for starting large models. It is intended as an aid for the assembly of larger models. By purchase and the intended use of the "L.M.Stand" you undertake to take full responsibility for the safety of others, yourself and your model - safe use of any product bought from Model Components remain the responsibility of the individual using it and not Model Components. Any product suggested use and or inclusive diagrams are offered on an information basis only and do not constitute any definitive measure of intended use by Model Components. The responsibility lies with you.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT LIABILITY BEYOND THE REMEDIES PROVIDED FOR IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY OR FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY LIABILITY FOR THIRD-PARTY CLAIMS AGAINST YOU FOR DAMAGES, OUR LIABILITY WILL BE NO MORE THAN THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT THAT IS THE SUBJECT OF A CLAIM. THIS IS THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT FOR WHICH WE ARE RESPONSIBLE.

Privacy Policy Model Components do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Returns Policy If you wish to change your mind and return your goods for exchange or refund, you must tell us in writing within 7 days of receipt of the goods - You can do this by writing or email. It is your responsibility to ensure that the goods are returned in 'as new' condition in undamaged packaging and to pay the return postage. Specially made 'custom items' are expressly excluded and are only returnable if faulty or not made to specification. Special order or spare parts that are ordered in specially for you are also non-returnable unless faulty.
Special Items: will be treated as per Guarantee above. If you do unfortunately receive faulty goods, or we make a mistake, please contact us and we will do our best to sort everything out for you as quickly as possible.

In the case where a customer rejects their order with the courier that tries to deliver we will not be liable for any courier charges that then arise in retrieving that order or having it returned back to us. In this case such charges will be deducted from any refund or charged to the customer.
If the courier asks you to sign for the goods then please check their condition. If the packaging has been badly damaged or opened then please make a note of this with the courier before signing. Do not reject the goods - you must sign for them and then notify us of any problems.

If your order is over 5Kg and you live in a remote location such as the Scottish Highlands, offshore islands or Northern Ireland, we may levy a surcharge to cover the extra carriage to these areas. Should this be the case we will contact you with the option of either paying the surcharge or cancelling the order. Remote postcodes include AB30-AB38, AB40-AB56, BT, FK17-FK21, G83, GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, KA27-KA28, KW, PA20-PA99, PH, TR21-TR25, ZE.
If you deliberately fail to take delivery of the goods then we reserve the right to store the goods until delivery is achieved and charge you for any associated costs.

All rights, including copyright and database right, in the Model Components website and its contents, are owned by or licensed to Model Components, or otherwise used by Model Components as permitted by applicable law. In accessing the Model Components web pages, you agree that you will access the contents solely for your own private use but not for any commercial or public use. You can download and use the service on a single CPU at a time and you can print out a single hard copy of any part of the content on the Model Components website for your personal use.
